:Hi and thank you ! I posted some pictures, there is one of her enclosure in her album. Right now I have a light (60 watt) over the tank, and a under the cage heating pad under her hiding rock. The tank is a 20 gallon. She has been looking around the cage, took a drink from her corner dish and seems to be very happy.

Looks like a nice set up. I prefer under tank heating - either heat pads or heat tape rather than lights. The bulbs burn out when you least expect it... Make sure you've got a good way to take the temps on the tank. If your room temps are in the 70's a black snake just needs a little extra heat to digest. Giving the snake a choice of hiding spots in both the warm side and the cool side will keep her happy. Good luck with your new snake!

Lora
