Saw some interesting activity starting last night with my female blue beauty hanging out in her nesting box. Lo-and-behold, I woke up to 17 healthy looking fat eggs!!! She has been bred before, but this is my first breeding with blues. And it looks like I might have a late hook-up of a pair of corns I've got at home too. The female is in shed so isn't ready, but the male is sure interested. But now it's just waiting to see how well the eggs turn out. I never imagined how large the eggs would be!
