She's a 2000 female. Last year she was big enough to breed, actually, lol--she was big enough at 1 year of age, too, but I wouldn't breed one that young. :) The male never showed any interest in her last year at all. Neither had been brumated. Just for grins, I let my 'I'll hump anything' male corn sniff her over last year, too, just to see if it was the Bairdi male who wasn't interested (also a 2 year old). Nope, no interest. I brumated the breeders this year for 2 months, and have 7 lovely eggs to show for it.

I know my corns will go with or without brumation. I've heard Bairds will, too, but haven't had that experience yet. She may just have been too young *shrug* even though she was well over 5 feet last year.
