It sounds pretty normal to me. The one thing that is different with North American rats is that Taiwan beauties breed later in season. I always got eggs mid or end summer. So it could be she is just having casual sex right nowe LOL.. Seriously do not worry about it. We had one year of bad eggs. All where invertile. That winter we did not cool the male. Ever since the when we did cool the male the eggs where good.

:Ok.. its going on about a month now that my Taiwans have been breeding. They are AGAIN locked up right now, and seem to lock up every other day or 3 days, for about 4 hours at a time. And its only been with the one female. Other female is completely not interested and denies any attempt he makes to hook up with her. Anyhow, shouldn't they be finished by now? Or should I just leave them to keep going at it? Hell with my cornsnakes It usually takes one breeding, don't need to reintroduce them, and I get big fertile clutches, so i'm kind of at a loss what to do here or what to expect.
