I just received a pair of WC Mandarins and am anticipating a third later this week. I know they can be tough to get going, but I bit the bullet and want to try anyway. I've read they prefer cooler temps, but have heard they can be kept in the low 80's like more typical colubrids. Getting a bit confused. Any advice on temps, feeding, caging preferences to keep stress down, purging, etc., would be greatly appreciated. How critical is the temps to stress, feeding, etc.? Any good feeding strategies you can share?
My thanks in advance!!!
