Everyone really interested in havin' the best information on Elaphe species need to buy the book," A Monograph of the Colubrid Snakes of the Genus Elaphe" by K. D, Schulz.
It has the best info, by far and great color photos of almost all known species and subspecies. It cost around $125.00 - 150.00, but is worth every penny !
