Hi
I have been keeping Ridleyi for a few years now and have just had my first clutch of eggs, see pic.
They get to around 7-8ft long, but always seem smaller due to their small girth.
They like a tall-ish cage and a reasonably humid environment.
As hatchlings mine have either taken to defrost straight away, or in my case would only feed while hanging off of my wrist, but after a month or 2 switched to a normal feeding routine.
The adults consume 3-4 large mice a week.
They are a truly stunning snake, but mine have always stayed snappy, and i usually get bitten when ever i have to handle them.
so they are not really a begginers snake.
I have sen them in the wild in malaysia, which was a real treat, and one experience i will not soon forget.
all in all a pretty cool snake, which only get better with age.
Its worth taking a look at a few websites such as...

The Elaphe book by schultz is a must have if you are really interested in this species, as its pretty much the only one around, and very comprehensive and packed with info and pics.
Good luck
Ian
