I definately have no clue what we would have done in that case! Part of what made it easy to remove the tape with the baby oil is that my roommate simply allowed the snake to bite him and hang on to his finger while we did the work. I don't think that would have worked to well with a copperhead. Well its good to see that other people have made similar mistakes and hopefully other people will be able to avoid these types of problems in the future because of it.
