When you are talking about a snake being killer because of color phase and brightness, then you will have some that are nicer in a clutch than others. If you get a pair to produce killer offspring than it isn't so bad having a snake from a clutch that isn't as colorful as the others in the clutch. It should still produce some nice killer offspring. It makes me think of one of Dwight Good's yellow rat snake breeders. I hope I get the story close to correct. Dwight had gotten a pair of w/c yellow rat snake that were locale matched, but were in not very good shape. I think the male didn't make it past the first year. The female had several clutches since (I don't know if she's still around). She isn't the prettiest yellow rat snake that I've seen. Funny thing is, she throws some of the nicest yellow rat snakes around. You wouldn't even think the offspring came from her. Dwight Good is a breeder if you're interested in glades and so is Travis Grasha. Of course, I should be producing next year and I know there's a few things coming up on your end I'm interested in. More pics to follow.
:Terry, that is really a beautiful snake. I have always been interested in Glades rats, but don't know who produces those killer ones I occasionally see in pictures. Any info would be great. I am hesitant on getting into them because I have also seen some fairly drab specimens. Thanks,
:Paul
:Where are the rest of the pics?! lol
