1 is almost solid black now at not even a year old, I'd suggest you contact him ASAP because I believe he sold out of most if not all of his solid blacks early in the season last year.
As for WC black rats, blackest I've seen was in Upper New York state, Pennsylvaina & southern Ontario in Canada, caught them in those areas that would rival an Indigo for blackness.
