I noticed that the black rat in the pic has black eyes. Mine has grey eyes. Which one is more common? The one I have is rather black for about the first half and then some very faint white saddles appear. Of course, he'd probably look blacker if he were just a bit skinnier, he's on a diet but he's not happy about it. As a note, he's 12 years old.
