:Hi Guys;
:Just wondering if anyone else has ever seen THIS?? Last week I noticed one of my baby obseletas felt like a string of jelly. He's been eating all winter & eats with gusto, however he had a really limp feel to him, his vitals were fine but for the last 7 inches of his body there was NO movement, no muscle tone, he wouldn't wrap around you fingers when handled. I looked him over really good, there didn't appear to be any injuries there, his spinal column felt OK but I just got tired of watching him drag his sorry little body around so I did 'the right thing'.......
:Go figure this was one of my favourite too :-( Any feedback would be appreciated.
There is a chance that a congenital vitamin deficiency was the cause. There are plenty of records of vitamin deficiencies doing nasty things to a variety of domestic animals from catfish to cows. Effects vary from species to species and depend on which vitamin is the cause. But feeding the snake a dead mouse with a drop of a good A B C D3 E liquid vitamin mix inside its body cavity might help. No guarantees, of course.
