I came home from the a show last weekend to find nearly all of my cornsnakes(9 of them) and my first and only ball python Bob that i've had for nearly 5 years, dead. A family member had come into the room and shut the window, then the door, so the room became a literal oven, since i left most of the heat sources on while i was away for the weekend. *sigh* It always hurts to lose animals..

:Found out that despite all the treatment on my grey ratsnake, Storm, there's nothing more I can do. The infection has spread from just one side of his lower jaw to the entire throat area and is suspected to be down into the bone (which we'd feared might be the problem from the get-go). It is also suspected that there is some type of underlying immune system problem which is what has caused him not to respond as well to the treatments as expected. I'm scheduled to have him euthanized tomorrow. REALLY bummed out about this - I really like this snake. :(
