constricting vs coiling

They do coil prey, but that's different from actually cutting off venous return to kill prey. The wandering garters around here coil too, I think it's more of a handling-live-prey-until-you-can-wrap-your-mouth-around it kinda thing

What locality is yours? The yellow's certainly bright. Mine's cb Nicaraguan and just keeps getting prettier every time he sheds.
