Thats interesting. My first inclination when I saw it was bairdi/emoryi.

: I collected this snake in (97) 12 miles east of sanderson texas on hyw 90.I was on my way to the river road and had to stop the jeep about five times to look at the snake.I had never seen anything like it and still havn't.
:When I arrived at the wild horse cabbins my friends troy hibbitts, jon seifer and ric blair were all there.
:I told them that I had found a weird rat snake and the next morning after we got up and around I pulled it out.

:We all stood there pokeing at it like it was from outer space or something?LOL....Troy and myself came to the same conclusion that it must be a intergrade of a bairdi and a emoryi?
:What else could it be?There were also subocs found there but it looked nothing like a subocs. The pics not that great but it was pretty much a silver snake with greenish blotches. The snake was a hypo to boot.It didn't have a scale of black anywere on it and the belly was that of a emoryi but it was clear like?It had 83 blotches head to tail(way more than any emoryi)but it had a long slender like body that of a bairds?
:Well anyways,I tried to breed him the next year to a bairdi, subocs and a emoryi?I could only get him interested in the bairdi?Maybe he was just a patterned bairds??????
:I will post a pic of one of the offspring.I tried for four years to get him to breed to emoryi and subocs but no luck.
:He died in (01)from unknown reasons?
