Do you feed the lyre you collected rodents? I'm thinking one obstacle I'll need to tackle is getting the lyres I collect switched over from lizards to rodents. Did you have to do that?
:My pic down below disappeared without my know-how, so I decided to post another. This is a juvenile Sonoran lyre, Trimorphodon biscutatus lambda. I found it near the end of March, 2002, in the area of the Santa Rita Mtns, AZ. These snakes are very cool, probably because they are a lot like ratsnakes, in general. They are good climbers, and although mildly venomous (rear-fanged), they may also use constriction on their prey. I think they are like a cross bt. a ratsnake and a boiga, also :)
