And I seriuosly doubt there's many of those being produced. They are a very neat snake very much like an 'underfed Indigo' I've also seem Melanistic Radiated ratsankes they too reselmble Indigos. Don't have my black Janseni anymore, he was just TOO much trouble to get feedin so I gave him to a kid I know who has all the time in the world to cater to his culinary quirks ;-)
Thats NOT to say this snake your interested will be a problem but if it's WC & for sale at a pet store, well ya just don't know. If your considering buying it ASK to see it feed in front of you is my suggestion, OR maybe someone in here can point you to someone who's breeding these guys.
The only way I could appease my black snake fetish was finally break down & get some Indigos ;-) I have had black Mex kings, black pines, they just didn't cut it. Now if I may stick my nose in here to advertize for one of our contributors I got some baby black rats off Dwight Good this year that WILL rival an Indigo for 'blackness' Hey I love em, their MUCH cheaper than Indigos & eat much better than Black Jansenis ;-) Just my two cents worth ;-)
Good luck whatever you decide
