After almost five months my Russian Rat ate a fuzzy!! He is a yearling and wanted (against my wishes)desperately to bruamte. I really couldnt get him any cooler than 70 degrees so he just sat at room temp (unhandled) all that time. He had a good hide and clean water. I would monthly offer him a live pinky in hopes of rousing his hunger but he wouldn't have it. I was considering force feeding because he was starting to lose weight but when I opened his drawer and reached for him he took a swing at me (uncharacteristic). I thought "if he will bite me, he might bite a fuzzy". He did!! Did I mention "Yahooo"?
