I've been breeding leopards for six or seven years now and have some females that have successfully produced five or six years in a row. Situla produce large clutches (up to about 50 percent of the mass of the female). If you breed them as small females it significantly impacts their future production. A young three year old female may produce a couple of eggs but your best long term pay off is to let her put additional energy into growth. You'll get larger clutches in future years if you do.
