There is a writing book with that title, and as I am an old man (but not as old as you Terry), I can't remember who the author was. But that's what I do regularly to keep my poor writing skills honed. I write to learn the topic that is ruminating in my head at that moment--about one or two a year is all I can muster. Sometimes it helps me clarify a project or internalize the material. Once material is internalized it belongs to me. I don't have to look it up; I don't have to memorize it. It's mine!
Good job with the bairdi information. It is becoming internalized, and you've shared it with us. Despite the slight earthquake in bairdiland, this was a good thread. Thanks.
