Since he is a baby a cool down isn't required, but sometimes babies don't feed well and a cool down for a few weeks does stimulate feeding when warmed back up. It might be possible that your snake is experiencing stress...maybe from being too warm. What temp. do you have him at nf? It's also possible that he just needs a little rest. If he's grown a lot since Sept. then maybe he could stand to go without eating a couple weeks. Also they tend to be a little nervous unless they have a good hiding area. If there's too much traffic by the cage, he could just be stressed by that. I give my snakes the maximum amount of privacy until they're used to me...and even then some don't feed often.
