i had an opportunity last year in April to get one from a local pet store here in Virginia. he was about 2 feet long. he bit me twice, but man, he was pretty! similar coloration, with lots of gold and traces of orange. i came back a few days later hoping to get him, but they had sold him! RATS!!(no pun intended...ha ha!) the one in the picture i got from Larry Kenton at a show in Richmond, Virginia last year. he had a male and female, but i thought the male was more colorful and attractive. so, i got him.
