the temp ranges from 75 above the hide box at the cool end, to 95 at the warm end. he might also be wanting to get out for interaction... i know that sounds weird, but i've had him for a while and he is very sweet-tempered, NEVER bites (even when he's mad or mistakes me for a food item- just strikes and withdraws quickly) and likes to take baths. he also likes to bask on the windowsill, closely supervised of course.

: Are you keeping him too hot?I taped a household thermometer/humidity(cheap,hardware or housewares Wal-Mart)with duct tape on the inside glass wall of the tank to monitor heat/humidity.Maybe he is climbing because he is too hot,and is trying to get out,or maybe not.I would want to know what temperatures are inside the tank or cage.
