: I handled him for the first time today. He was very jumpy, slashing his tail and biting me several times. But, since he is a baby, his bites do not puncture the skin yet. I will probably handle him 2-3 times a week, and hopefully he will calm down.

:-) Hi there,
I have a Beauty who is about 5 months old. When I first got him he was about 4 to 5 weeks old. He only bit me the first day but, after handling him every day for a week he mellowed alot. Now at 5 months he is still very fast but, pretty mellow when I hold him. Now when my husband hold him he is very hyper & does alot of the tail whip. But, he has never bitten anyone since that first day.
If you would like to see him here is his webpage. Just put some newer pictures up a couple of weeks ago. He is now 27 inches long.
Hugs
Kim
P.S.
Hi Mike:-)
