I havent counted scales. I was sort of comparing to rats and corns online but... I thought one of you would make it easier. I posted to the hybrid forum as someone suggesed it was a gopher corn. Its disposition is not stellar. It is really jumpy and nippy. Bites a hook and a glove. Very touchy. I am thinking I will never know exactly what it is.

:Doesn't look like a corn. Did you count scale rows, yet? Looks to me like it could be a mixture of corn and black rat, but I'm definately no expert on these things. This is one of the reasons I stay away from these types of crosses.
