They are a fairly hearty species overall.
I think the biggest thing is to keep the humidity low. I keep a small water bowl on the cool end that wont tip over in all of their enclosures. I know some people that only offer water every few days but I have had good luck with small bowls that wont tip.
They have a warm side in the mid 80's which they use more than most of the other species I keep and also have a cool side available.
All of mine take thawed mice with no problems.
They are truly one of my favorites!

:Do you have any suggestions for someone just starting out with this species? Are the babies tricky to raise, or is this a straight forward snake to maintain? Thanks....TC.
