They are amongst the most difficult of snakes to keep for a prolonged period of time. Initially extremely agressive they do tame down remarkably but must always be handled cautiously. They are infested w/internal parasites (if wc imports), extremely prone to upper resp. problems, and rarely drink from standing water.
I have had some measure of success (3 good eggs hatching any day) but its been a labor of love. They are a high maintenance snake to say the least. I sent you a more detailed e-mail. Bill
