Today I was working with my Taiwan Blue Beauty for the first time in about 2 weeks. I noticed that approximately 1/3 of the way down the snake had a very obvious kink. I felt around the kink gently and noticed that it felt as if the vertebra were ossified together. I then noticed that at the exact place where the true vertebra turn into caudal vertebral there was another kink forming. This snake has refused food since before thanksgiving and today finally ate on its own. From what I noticed this seems to be more of a disease oriented ailment as opposed to physical impairment (i.e. broken back from physical contact with something). So with that said 1. Has anyone else had this experience before and 2. What do I do about it?
Very perplexed,
Zac
