They easily get 4-5 ft., and up to almost 7 ft. Males are larger though. They are usually a little nippy, but I've raised all of mine from CB babies, and I rarely get bitten anymore. I expect with a few more generations they shouldn't be too troublesome. I don't know where you can get some unless Rex Knight still has some. He bred a couple females last summer.
