Not all do. I've seen Central American rats that are very drab brown, some that are brick red, others that are sandy yellow, and various other colors and combos of these colors. I went for this particular female because of her nice combo of reddish and yellow. I passed on buying a bunch of the more common drab brown ones until I found her.
