were some of you guys out there praying for me?? if so, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! i found my Texas rat snake! after sending my previous message, something told me to take one more look. i grabbed the flashlight, checked under the computer desk...not there. i pulled the bottom grille off of the freezer...not there. i opened the closet door - lifted a bag and then a storage container.....still not there! then, i lifted up a big, red bag on the floor of the closet and...there was my baby!!! he couldn't be more than a foot long. i was amazed that he was still alive! he'd been gone almost a month. immediately, i went to get him some water in a cup. he stuck his nose in and drank for almost 2 minutes!! my girlfriend was fixing supper and i told her to wait until after i went to town to get some pinky mice. the pet store was about 30 minutes away! i had to get there before 9:00 and it was already 8:30!! quickly, but carefully i drove and finally made it. i got back with 4 mice. he stuck his little orange tongue out and ate 2 of them. i just want to thank everyone out there who might have been thinking about me. i've really been bummed out about this, but now i can rest easy again at night. I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS!!!
