A nice handleable leucistic TX Rat with good eyes (not bulging out of its head) will go for a decent price... And is probably worth $100-200.
A baby LTXR with bug eyes that has not been handled at all, and is probably not eating real well yet is going to be a cheaper animal - $25-50.
If anyone claims their snakes are eating, ask them what they are eating, and at what frequency. They should be able to answer this with no hesitation. They should also have food handy, and should be able to feed that snake on the spot for you. If it eats, buy it.

:I went to the monthly show in Havre De Grace Maryland and I saw these snakes from $25-$70 for hatchlings, and then some one year olds for $50. I was really thinking about getting one but with all the price differences, I didn't know if something was wrong with some of them or different, everyone I asked who had them said they were eatng. So the next show I plan on attending is the one in White Plains, NY. How much should I pay? And anybody know any good breeders that will be there with some? Thanks a lot
