aspen or pine??

sorry i know that there is a forum for this but i need answers fast! i have 2 corns and i am sick and tired of them going under the news paper becasue i dont know what they are doing or if they have escaped so i check on em every time i go into the snake room. i am going to use mulch but it is not thick mulch like the one you use is a gardens but smaller chips. its so small that you can probably sleep on it. it is called reptile bedding. should i use ponderosa pine or aspen???

on a differnt note i am feeding my baby corns my female 98 is 6 in and my male 97 is about 10 in. i am feeding the female a single fuzzy every thursday. and my female a pink evry thrdy. is this ok?? i can only feed them this amount becasue the pet store is so far away i can only go their once a week. hope fully i can start fedding them thawed pretty soon. well my question is on their feeding regiment when can they breed??? next year??? thanks
