I got a male that's somewhere around 2-3 years old earlier this year at MARS and love him. He does tend to do the tail rattle thing a bit at first, but is quite gentle when he's taken out. Even now with me having to clean some wounds and give him shots, he's not struck at all though he's blown & hissed as well as left us a 'pressie' on the counter. lol I wouldn't trade him in for anything. :)
