The white along the edge of the scales is pretty common in Tx rats. I once saw one that nearly had stripes down its back from the white edging. Great snakes.

:Here are some pictures of my O1' Orange phase Tx Rat from Dwight Good. Great snake to own. He has recently been switched to f/t rats, and takes nice sized ones without problems. Growing very quickly from feedings once a week. Was once a timid feeder and aggressive to handle, but is now quite an aggressive feeder and timid to handle over a period of a year with proper attention.
:I measure it at around 36" two weeks ago.

:Here is a close up of "white speckeling" that is on his sides, towards the rear. These are not all of them, just the largest. Any ideas to what this is? I have not seen anything too similar to this other than "piebald", though this is quite a ways from that. Can see it well on above pic too.
