How long have you had this snake? Are you handling him, or is he managing to convince you not to. If you have only had him a short time, he may well calm down with time. It's OK to back off if he seems really agitated, but if you catch him in a better mood, go ahead and scoop him up. Once he is in your hands for a few moments, he will probably calm down. Even though my black rat used to "rattle"... he never bit me. Now he is gentle as a lamb, and I have only had him about 6 months. He was a cb '01. Good luck and welcome to these forums. Duffy
:Hey i have a 3 way crossed corn snake it was bred with a snow corn snake and a 50% black rat and 50% baird rat snake, its about 27 inches, eats 2-3 lrg fuzzies a week. For some reason i try to handle it but it isn't very friendly the weird thing is it will run away and the end of his tail will vibrate and will make a weird sound, can someone tell me whats wrong
