I kind of figured Dwight would have some nice snakes!!! Dang it!! LOL I will def be there Jan!!
I got to kick around a few rocks and some scrub brush and stuff. Didnt have my digital camera with me, and didnt see any snakes anyways. Did see a couple of Gila monsters and bunches of road runners. Saw some other lizards too, have no idea what they were though, fast little buggers, about 8 - 10" long, tan colored. Didnt really know any good places, and it was a last minute trip so I couldnt do any research on a good area around Yuma. But maybe next time I can do a little planning and check out some hot spots.
Did take a look at a pet store in Yuma, and they had one kingsnake. It was supposed to be an Arizona King, it had alot of black flecking on the scales which made it really dark. The store didnt know if it was C/B or W/C, it was a really friendly snake though, and man was I tempted. But the $150 price tag was a little much to swallow!!! LOL
