They are a tad more nervous than a corn but no worse than the various E. obsoleta subspecies. So far, I have found them very easy to work with. By the way, the snake in the photo is also het for anerythrism.
:Wow! If I only had the money and space. How do flavs compare to other North American Elaphe in captivity? I've heard they can be a bit nervous.
