Hi Paul,

Ridleyi have voracious appetites and big teeth so I'm always careful when reaching into the enclosure or moving my hands near their caves. Once you pick them up, however, they may be slightly nervous but not really inclined to bite. I've heard wide variations on the temperament of people's ridleyi.... some are 100% docile while others are nervous and/or strikey. Mine spend a majority of their time in their caves (imagine that!), and seem to prefer temps of 78-82. I have a trio of adults that I enjoy very much. One pair has a white stripe (see pics in post below) and the second female has a yellow stripe. Those differences likely reflect the area in which the previous generations were collected. I have noticed a size difference between the two as well. One pair is nearly seven feet while the female with the yellow stripe is between five and six feet. Has anyone else noticed similar differences?

Take care,
Ronda
