Hello Vlad..sounds like you have some dione you want to breed..i'm looking at my Ukrainian dione right now. They're getting ready for their post brumation shed. I think last year it was about 2.5 months from the 1st shed to egg laying, but i'll have to check in my notes elsewhere. The really interesting thing is that incubation only took 17 days at a temp range of 76 to 82*F. I believe the record shortest time was 13 days. Remember that there are many types of dione being their range is so extensive (check earlier notes on this forum). All the eggs hatched and there were six. I also hatched two clutches of Chinese dione which took a little longer to hatch. I'll have to check my notes and get back to you later. The clutch sizes were five and six..not large but the eggs themselves were very large. The Chinese babies were larger than any of four dione types I've had and very easy to start. I have nine survivors that are doing very nicely right now. When you get your dione try to find out any locality data you can and in your next post try to give some info on where they are from. Good luck. Rat!
