I would suggest checking weather.com (The Weather Channel) and looking up Taiwan in their links to weather in other countries section. I have it bookmarked on my own computer and check it semi-regularly. I originally read in a couple sources that Taiwans liked it cooler than most other species of N. American ratsnakes and that you shouldn't keep them warmer than mid 80's. Howeve, following the weather this past summer and comparing it to my own weather (in Chicago - without A/C), I found that similar temperatures and humidity conditions prevailed throughout the summer. I suspect the original citation about temps may have been a general guideline for all spp. of E. taeniura and while cooler temps are probably neccessary for a E. taeniura ridleyi (Cave Racer) they probably aren't as crucial for the E. taeniura frisei. All that being said, I try to keep my humidity above 60 percent and temps within the mid 70's to low 90's. As for year 'round weather conditions, you'll have to watch the weather channel website and make notes throughout the year on when to increase your humidity and temps. I personally wouldn't recommend any brummation period as Taiwan has a much more tropical climate and isn't as likely to experience cooler weather. Instead you might withold food and reduce temps to low 70's for a couple months instead of an all-out low temp brumation.
