:feeding these guys is always fun.. they are all housed together in an 80gal herp-aquarium with a sliding lid. as soon as they smell that platter of rodent come past their cage, they're all out, posed looking up, waiting. lol. i usually offer 2 of them their rat while their hanging over the side of the cage, just to keep their mouths occupied, while i move them to a container, or the floor, then feed the 3rd in his cage. Has always worked for me with no problems. But these guys eat like no colubrid i've ever kept. lol. they're closer to my retics then anything else.. they're all about a year and a half old and around 6ft. Chowing down large rats. they've come a LONG way from those pencil sized hatchlings i brought home from a show last year ;)
