Well, I havent started using the heat rock yet. All I have ever heard is bad things about them. What I do have is just a heat pad you can buy at walmart that I have under the tank, but the table started to get really hot. I have a 60 or 75 watt bulb on one end that keeps it about 88 degrees most of the time. Should I put the heat pad on the same side as the lamp? I do have two thermo's on each end of the tank though and one is usually about room temp (74 degrees) to about 80 with the heat pad. Let me know if I should just keep the heating pad. Thanks
