This is a corn produced by Frank Pinello. Normal patterned with light blotches. This one appears to be a combination of traits. Anerythristic and amelanistic.
Kat I know exactly what you are thinking about the brown pigment, but it is actually the yellow and the grays and blacks overlapping that makes them look brown. Usually in brown snakes there is more color than just brown being the melanin factor. It's better described as faded black with an underlieing color, usually yellow or orange. For instance......albino burms are yellow/orange. Normals are brown, black and yellow. The brown appearance in burms is only a combination of black and yellow. In axanthic burms, the yellow is dismissed leaving a beautiful black and white snake.
