:How long should I wait to feed after a regurgitation? I think I fed my yearling black rat a fuzzy that was a little to big. Would that be the cause?
:It seems healthy on every other way.
:Thanks
:Its hard to be sure what the cause is sometimes. Make sure you have an area around 84 or so for digesting.
I would suggest you give close to two weeks for its stomach to settle down. If it does it again it is often much harder to get its system to calm down and you can end up with a serious problem. Make its next couple of meals a little smaller in diameter than the largest part of its body. After you get it back on track try not to feed it meals more than just slightly larger than the largest part of its body.
Good luck.
