I doubt it will go away at all. Paradox condition is when you have a recessive gene like albino, or axanthic in this case, that is also affected like another recessive gene. In some animals it is recessive, and others it is random occurring. I have never seen animals display this as hatchlings and lose the normal pigments with aging.
