Thanks you guys for filling me in on the details. Sounds like you have hit on something very interesting about the ecology of these animals. Actually if this is true i'd be more inclined to try the Gony's because it's difficult for me to create the high humidities. With some of the snakes i have i work hard to keep them more humid, or else they tend to have some shedding problems, like E. moellendorffi, E. mandarina, E. radiata, and maybe a couple others. Maybe your successful Bill because it helps you control the parasites and/or diseases that imports seem to always have. Do you continue the drier conditions even after the animals are established? Do your snakes ever have shedding problems due to low humidity? Sorry i questioned you Bill..i guess i just wasn't sure you really meant it. I do now and i'll sure see if i can incorporate this knowledge into my work with asians. (Feelin' a little ratty at Ratsnake Haven).
