Both my pair of leucistic and my pair of normals are great... With a little persistant handling, they just get better and better. But with a baby... I wouldn't be all that concerned with getting it to calm down just yet. As long as it is eating, who cares if it has a little 'tude? Food first!!

:She may or may not grow out of it. I have had 2 Texas Rats in the past 5 years. One was a wild caught baby that I must have caught a few days after hatching because he was about 8 inches long. He was a great snake to look at, he was not afraid of people and always was out and about in his cage. But as soon as my hand got near him he would go nuts and let his musk out. My other was a Leucistic TX rat that was also an a-hole. They never grew out of it, my Leucistic escaped and my normal TX rat died a few years ago, I never found out why.
