I don`t let my Rhinos to stay much time in water, nevertheless I have noticed that my adults shed just about 2-3 times per year. Last year I stopped their hibernation the 1st of September, the female shed her skin for the first time in January just before the egg-laying, the male shed about the same time, both had kinda bad skin condition before the shed. This year everything is going almost the same way, except maybe I`ll get the clutch a bit earlier. Now they are still copulating and she looks gravid, but it seems both won`t shed till a couple of weeks before the laying. Has anyone else seen this behavoir?
