first, i would say see a vet. if your vet doesn't respond confidently, have them call Dr. Klingenburg at Sheep Draw Vet in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Klingenburg is one of the nation's leading reptile vets, and on top of that, he keeps and breeds Rhinos : )
Klingenburg and i have both seen a scale condition on a couple of animals that caused bad sheds, no sheds, and just bad skin condition in general. it seems to be a bacterial infection of some sort, and it responds well to Amakacin. but get a diagnosis first, don't just start shooting up all over : )
